A native of northeastern Montana, Monica Marsh obtained her Bachelor’s at Minnesota State University Moorhead and her Master’s degrees in each Business Administration and Management from University of Mary, and she currently calls the cities of Fargo, ND and Moorhead, MN her home. Monica is the Chief Operating Officer at Oram & Houghton, PLLC. She manages all operations at the firm and further contributes to essential tasks in the creation of oil and gas title opinions, as well as other oil and gas, estate, probate, commercial transactions, and civil litigation matters.
Monica’s experience prior to working with Oram & Houghton, PLLC includes over 15 years of paralegal experience encompassing the following areas of law: Natural Resources, Estate and Probate, Commercial Transactions, Contracts Review and Negotiation, Civil Litigation, and Workers’ Compensation, among others. Monica also enjoyed the experience of assisting with the Indian Law Project of Montana Legal Services, providing estate planning services to Native Americans of various tribes in Montana to facilitate appropriate distribution of minerals. In addition, she has extensive experience in customer service, legal document processing, and service implementation management.
Outside of work, Monica enjoys spending her time with loved ones, whether in friendly competition in nearly any kind of game, with microphone in hand if karaoke is available, watching scary movies on family movie night, cuddling with her dogs Bruizer and Gimli, or when the weather allows, soaking in the sun and fresh air while spending pontoon time on any of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes.
