Joy Weaver is a paralegal who now happily resides in rural Wyoming while working for Oram & Houghton, PLLC. Having been homeschooled along with her eight siblings, she studied advanced English in high school and later joined the United States Air National Guard to become an Aircraft Metals Technician. After an injury prompted her discharge, she took a career change and graduated IBM Career College with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. She worked freelance for a number of years in several areas of law, including Workers Compensation, Criminal Defense, and Personal Injury, and worked in office for a premier law firm in Denver, CO that specialized in Criminal Defense with mental health related aspects. Outside of work, she enjoys raising her three children with her husband, gardening, raising birds, fixing old houses, and writing fiction.
