
Melinda D. Frazier
Melinda Frazier grew up in Chicago, Illinois and currently resides in Sheridan, Wyoming. She is a graduate of Indiana University, and subsequently earned her J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law. While attending law school, she concurrently obtained an M.A. in energy and natural resources.
Prior to joining Oram & Houghton, Melinda had a successful, professional career in the energy sector where she held various managerial positions throughout the Rocky Mountain region. Upon earning her J.D., she worked for several boutique law firms where she focused her practice on oil and gas transactional matters, drafted and negotiated surface related agreements, and prepared drilling and division order title opinions.
Currently, Melinda focuses her practice on oil and gas title examination for fee, federal, and state lands, and the preparation of drilling and division order title opinions. She is a certified mediator for the Wyoming Department of Agriculture, and regularly contributes to the Wyoming State Bar’s Legal Aid program.
Melinda enjoys spending time with her family, hiking the Big Horn Mountains, playing classical piano, and SCUBA diving.
Ms. Frazier is admitted to practice law in Wyoming and Montana.
